Although the route as such concludes in the city of Santiago, the pilgrimage doesn't end in Compostela. From remote times all the towns and travellers that have come near this western corner in Europe have wanted to follow the path of the sun, to reach lands end and contemplate the immensity of infinity and see the sun penetrate the sea water. Some pilgrims already decided to prolong their pilgrimage until the Costa da Morte from their origins, the last stronghold of land known. The last stretch of their journey, an itinerary marked in the sky by the Milky Way.
